These awards are an opportunity to express creativity, harnessing individual identity , promoting and establishing the Manyu culture to the outside world. The work of these artists have been occasions for leisure, entertainment, learning and teaching our traditions and customs. Without our musicians, our wakes, funerals, burials, sackcloth, Sessekous, Ekandim Nkandas and Manyangaroh’s coronations will be insipid. Our hope is that through these awards, we will impose our culture to the world and create revenue to our division as people will like to visit for studies and other needs. We want to start attracting tourism with our culture.

The 2023 awards featured a diverse lineup of nominees, showcasing the depth of talent within the community. For instance, the Manyu Male Artist of the Year category included artists such as Sam Moh Ntok, Eta Mandengue, Maxy Manorh , Relly Ebini, Okunol and DJ Platini aka Moh Nchang Town
Similarly, the Manyu Female Artist of the Year category highlighted talents like Matabe Fruitful (The Queen of Culture), Princess Eyo Elice, and Enow Queenta aka MP3.
